Twin City Fan Companies, Ltd. is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial and commercial air moving equipment with facilities around the world.  Due to unprecedented growth in today’s economy, we have an excellent opportunity for a skilled Sales Application Engineer.   This is the perfect position for an individual who wants to assume a key role and significantly contribute to a dynamic, fast growing and entrepreneurial company.

Your responsibilities and contributions to success will include:

1.    Assist representatives in standard and special applications.  Make special or difficult fan selections.  Assist in pricing and help to solve technical problems in a timely manner.
2.    Work on large and/or special jobs.

a.   Select and price the most effective fans for the application based on specifications.
b.   Follow up with customers or representatives on quotations.  Work with the Engineering Department to interpret specifications and customer requirements.  Review customer drawings and data.
c.   Work with the Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Departments to properly move the job through the shop to meet customer satisfac­tion.

3.   Assist Purchasing to specify purchase of special equipment and acces­sories to meet customer specifications.
4.   Maintain and update technical knowledge of company products and competitors' products.  Maintain adequate knowledge of buyout
5.   Partner with the Order Department and give them clear instructions on orders received.
6.   Keep abreast of competition, their price levels and new products; make suggestions and recommendations to keep our company competitive in the market place.
7.    Keep supervisors adequately informed on various jobs.
8.    Assist Customer Service department on any identified problem areas.
9.    Other duties as assigned or apparent.

Qualifications:
1.  Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. 
2.  Should have experience with air moving equipment.
3.  Effective communications and interpersonal skills.
4.  Able to work with minimum supervision and to make reasonable decisions
5.  High attention to detail.
